The Return of the Prophet
A Poetic Call to Reclaim Truth, Justice, and the Sacred Homeland
The Return of the Prophet
Kahlil Gibran's The Prophet gave voice to Almustafa, a wandering sage whose poetic meditations on love, sorrow, freedom and the human condition have spoken to generations of readers. The Return of the Prophet imagines Almustafa coming home to a land transformed by war and loss. Among scorched olive trees and villages marked by absence, he is called to speak again, this time to a people searching for a way forward. Through lyrical reflections on memory, exile, justice, dignity and resistance, he turns ultimately toward what must come after devastation: healing, rebuilding and the courage to hope. In the spirit of the work that inspired it, The Return of the Prophet asks what wisdom might mean when the task is no longer simply to understand life, but to reclaim it.
